Traffic at all our schools can be challenging, so we encourage families to walk, bike carpool and use transit to school more often. Working together lets make are school communities safer!
Have to drive? No problem! Please park 3 blocks away and ease the traffic at your school. Each of our schools have ample parking just 3 blocks away. Take the 3 Block Challenge and be part of the solution!

Elenda Earth Day Celebration, April 22
To celebrate Earth Day, Elenda Street will be closed from 7 am - 9am on Wednesday, April 22.
For one day, kids will have a car-free route to school. With games and activities planned, there will be plenty to do! Arrive early, test your skills, win some prizes and learn about mobility and safety!
PARENTS: Side streets will be closed at Huron and Coombs. Please be sure to park a few blocks away and let your kids walk the rest.

Beginning April 2026: Student Mobility Council for middle and high school students to learn to have a voice in mobility and traffic conversations in the City. Students will also plan activities and participate in walk + roll to school programming at their school Sign up HERE

Beginning November 7, 2025, local vendors will be providing free treats to kids who visit and display their Walk to School Day sticker. (Treats are at the sole discretion of the retailer and will vary at each location. Supplies may be limited. Students must show their Walk to School Day sticker to receive any gift).
