Traffic at all our schools can be challenging, so we encourage families to walk, bike carpool and use transit to school more often. Working together lets make are school communities safer!

Have to drive? No problem! Please park 3 blocks away and ease the traffic at your school. Each of our schools have ample parking just 3 blocks away. Take the 3 Block Challenge and be part of the solution!

International Walk to School Day: October 7

Join your school on October 7 in celebration of International Walk to School Day! 

Walk and roll to school and join schools around the world in this annual celebration of active transportation! Walk, bike, skate, scoot, carpool, transit... anything besides driving door-to-door everyday counts. Get free stickers at your school for joining the fun! 

Also, we are hosting a Walk to School Sign Making Day at Syd Kronenthal Park on Saturday, October 3 from 10-12. Bring your kids - we'll bring the rest - and together we'll make creative Walk to School signs to carry on October 7. 

NOTE: Elenda Street will be closed to car traffic from 7-9 am on October 7. Join the fun and practice the 3 block challenge by parking a few blocks away and walking the rest (faculty and ADA families will have access to the CCMS parking lot)

Culver City Bike Bus Returns

Join this fun group for an easy roll to school. We meet at Centinela and Culver Path and roll to Elenda with scheduled stops along the way:

  • Inglewood
  • Sawtelle
  • Sepulveda
  • Elenda

Meet at 8:00 a.m. and be ready to roll at 8:10. The Bike Bus leaves on time so if you miss the start, you'll have time to catch up at the stopping points.

At Elenda, La Ballona families head North and Farraguit families head South.
